Puppies born and raised at Elkhorn Mountain Brittanys are raised in home with the rest of the dogs in the family. During the day when I work, the pups hang out in my room where they have access to mom, food, and water (as well as someone to check on them occasionally), and when I get home their scenery changes to that of the kitchen/dining room/living room, or outside.
Some weekends are spent taking the pups on drives to get them used to traveling, and taking them to homes of fellow breeders that my dogs frequent, who are trustworthy and knowledgeable in how to handle a puppy properly.
